Growing up I have always dreamed of starting my business and managing every detail in it, I started studying the most famous businesses and what the imperfections in these businesses are, just to make sure that in the future if I do start my business, I do not make these mistakes. Starting a small business can be easy, but I always think through on how I can make it big and successful. The reasons I wish to study business administration is that I believe that if I graduate with this degree, I can become qualified to work in many business fields such as finance, accounting, and other aspects of the "money business". Most of my family members are currently working on their businesses ( banks, boutiques, restaurants, etc...), this encourages …show more content…
Studying business in Carnegie Mellon provides the education that is needed to succeed in these fields, and earning the degree can definitely help me and encourage me to keep working on myself. Having my family members who study business the same time as I do encourages me to pursue it because I can have many resources of consultation and education. Watching the Middle East grow with young business leaders makes me curious on how they started small and how they started growing big, and this major can give me the knowledge that I need to become a leader. A friend of mine has started a small business and helping her has exposed me to a small part of the business world and how hard it is to manage it correctly. Living in Saudi Arabia has been a great experience and it has also exposed me to the works and businesses of the many young adults who have started from scratch and who talk about their journey. Some of these people have talked about the mistakes that slowed down their success process, but what got me hooked the most is how passionate they were about their work and how much they love it, and I wish that one day, I will become one of these people who worked hard enough to turn their dreams to
