People always wonder how Hitler ever won the power of the German’s and it was by his use of propaganda. In 1933 Leni was recruited by Hitler to make a film. Leni herself probably wondered for years why Hitler chose her to make a propaganda film for him. Hitler was mesmerized by her commitment to her job. Even before Hitler asked her to join his propaganda team she was an accomplished dancer, actress, and director. Leni’s most famous piece is Triumph Of the Will, which is a film about the 1934 Nazi Rally in Nuremberg, Germany. Das Blaue Licht, which translates from German to English means, The Blue Light is the film that caught Hitler’s attention (LENI RIEFENSTAHL: Holocaust Encyclopedia). Hitler was an extremely persuasive person and that is how he got Leni to work with him. Leni was not entirely sure what was going on with Hitler until she started working with him. She began working for Hitler, in what was known as a man’s position. Women were not known to work in that high of
