As one can imagine, someone taking your belongings and now dictating your livelihood is not the best feeling. The kulaks (peasants) of the Soviet Union resisted the collection of their farming tools and animals by killing their animals, breaking their tools and burning all their crops. The government responded by forcing the kulaks into labor camps. The kulaks usually grew just enough to feed themselves after collectivization was in full effect. In response to that, the Government seized all tools and grain needed to farm leaving them to starve. Stalin became paranoid of rival party leaders plotting against him. In 1934, The Great Purge occurred where Stalin's secret police targeted anyone who was thought to have been against Stalin and his ideas. Those who were taken away by the secret police were mentally broken down by them to the point that they confessed to crimes they never committed. Many were sent to labor camps or execute and in total over four million people were killed. Usually, when there is a problem there is a resolution, but there was not one for The Great Purge. . Hitler began his plans of world domination by invading Czechoslovakia and claimed the territory for Germany. He later then continued to fulfill his aspiration of world domination by the invasion of many more European territories. World domination consists of complete control of any and every piece of land on the earth as well as controlling the population in every aspect. Hitler had what was know as the Aryan race. It consisted of pure German people of no other decent. This meant that Hitler needed to abolish any impurities that differentiate from the quality of those who fell under the label of an Aryan. Hitler targeted homosexuals, gypsies, and many other minorities, but, the group that was most hated by Hitler was the Jews. Hitler was so compelled to expel those other than the Aryan race that he created The Nuremberg laws. These laws prohibited any Germans from having any type of relationship with anyone other than one who is purely German. On specific event known as Kristallnacht, was the start of the use of the Nuremberg laws. Kristallnacht (Night of glass in German) was a very hate-filled night where Nazi officials completely ransacked all Jewish-owned businesses and places of worship.
