Do not put such unlimited power into the hands of the husbands.” Abigail wanted women to be mentioned in the new code of laws. She wanted women to have a right, just how men always had. This movement was a movement that many did not dare to touch because of the serious circumstances behind it, but Abigail knew that he husband went to her for help in serious situations.
