In particular how would your messages to each group differ from the others? I would choose to communicate with the all the stakeholders by using the wheel strategy. This is normally used when dealing with those powerful stakeholders who have no need to communicate directly with each other but, it's still deem necessary for them to stay in the loop. I believe that it is very important to adjust your communication style to suit the needs of the type of stakeholders you are addressing. All the stakeholders are going to want accurate information and you want to make sure that's what's being provided. In particular when dealing with the family they are going to require more time, attention, and care because the situation directly affects them. Lots of sensitivity should be used when delivering information and updates to them. Investors and employees of the organization will need to be reassured this was an isolated incident and measures can be put in place to prevent a reoccurrence from happening. Openness and honesty is key to maintain a level of trust among these types of stakeholders.
