In this level the atoms and molecules are what makes organelles which determine cell function (cell membranes, mitochondria, and ribosomes).
Cellular Level. Is where the body’s functional unit and here is where a cell will grow and then through mitosis, that cell will multiply and replicate again and again until the body contains 46 chromosomes. Here at this level of organization is where cellular diffusion takes place. Cellular diffusion is the major function and is responsible for specific functions (genes, and cells).
Tissue Level. Tissue is formed when similar cell unite at this level producing the body’s epithelial tissue (skin), connective tissue (blood tissue and bone), muscular tissue that produces force and provides our body motion and gives the body function. Our electrical impulses are able to travel through the body by neural …show more content…
The center of our brain is the processing center for hypothalamus which controls (regulates) our body temperature, and this is the integrator of maintaining our normal body temperature. When I’m outside on a nice sunny day and I began to feel cold I get chills and my hairs on my arms tend to stand up. This is a physical stimulus. The reason is my body is losing heat (radiation) because blood is not reaching the surface (vasoconstriction). The muscles in my body are contracting so they can form insulation of air to keep me warm. My first response is to this is to grab my sweater or a jacket because my body consciously reacts and becomes aware of my environment. The reason for this is my body is being triggered by nerve impulses to my sweat glands and muscles (body’s effectors). My (temperature receptors) within my skin and blood are able to detect changes in the weather or my environment, by sending data to the hypothalamus (processing center) in my brain to trigger changes to my sweat glands and muscles to regulate my temperature back to normal. Homeostatic mechanism is a negative feedback because it loops and reduces changes detected by the stimulus receptor. To function and to have life we must stay within normal ranges of temperature and chemistry, without homeostasis we have no equilibrium. All in all levels in organization of life play a role in homeostatic mechanism because all levels are in one form or another receive signals to active
