College wasn’t necessarily how Skinner expected it to be. He felt that physical education and chapel were unnecessary and to no importance to him. School got better for him as the years went on and was very comfortable with it by the time he finished. Skinner might have been somewhat of a jokester seeing as though he and a buddy in college decided to print posters saying a famous star names Charles Chaplin was coming to speak to everyone. This was also known as his three-part thesis on human behavior. Skinner got married, had two children and was teaching Psychology at Harvard. At this point in time Skinner was happy with his life. He died in 1990 of leukemia at eighty six years old. Although he was dying he was still doing dedicated to delivering his work. Skinners theories and work will always be beneficial and looked at by many. His experiments have lead and will continue to lead the way of new theories. His books were also very helpful when it comes to helping people understand behaviorism and how if a person/animal’s environment was manipulated that their behavior would change. I find that all of his work was very beneficial and interesting and will help our future psychologists build off of it to even better explanations of things.
