One can also age and not have to stay looking youthful for as long as they live. Death is allowed to be morn and people can be sad and are allowed to experience any kind of feeling. With happiness in Huxley's book people are conditioned to know the term death as something that just happens and isn't considered a bad thing. Part of becoming an individual is having parents who help set examples and help you mold into the person you grew up to be. Having a childhood becomes part of what makes the term individuality because you make choices on your own and choose who you want to be a part of your life. Choosing one person to spend the rest of your life with makes it worth all the while because they become yours and fidelity is considered to be taken seriously. For individuality John the savage is a great example to look at from Huxley's book. John was the type of person that could never blend in with everyone else. In Huxley's book John believed in the term individuality even if it came with more bad to it then actual good. For instance, when John and his mother Lind were taken back to the new world despite what everyone thought of his mother's appearance he still loved her. John loved his mother more despite how much she had resented him because her life had drastically changed and she had to give up her old life for him. For instance, when he sees that no one is allowed to be different and look different this would not sit well with him. Next, the way the beliefs are set up would most likely throw him into isolation because his thought process would be considered something of the past. I don't think Socrates would be fond of how promiscuous everyone is and how relationships are prohibited. Following this you can't have babies the normal way because parents don't exist so that would be confusing to Socrates. I believe living in a world where everyone looks alike would make it hard to distinguish for Socrates who is who. Marx's behavior about becoming exiled to another state would keep Socrates thinking because he strives or change.
