Hero
Francis demonstrates he is not a hero though his words , thoughts , and actions in the book Heroes heroes by robert cormier.
Francis is not a hero because he does not defend nicole. This makes him not a hero because he could have stopped Nnicole from getting raped. This also shows that he is not a hero because he just stood there. After the incident he didn't go help nicole or talk to her about it. For instance Francis chooses to not help nicole, “I didn't leave, stationed myself in the small foyer.” (cormier 95). This shows that Francis isn't a hero because he stayed put and didn’t bother to help nicole. Also he is not a hero because he knows she is getting raped and didn't help her and she was forced to get raped by larry lasalle. Francis
