At this point in history, humanity was not even a word. The word humanity, was destroyed, such as the Jews faith was during the Holocaust. The word to describe this time period is inhumane. In Night, by Elie Wiesel, this was his everyday life for two years. All humanity was erased, and there was only inhumanity. Elie shows this to the reader through conflict, and character development.
