Criminal justice system and the concerning ethics are closely knitted. A social contract theory has explained that the criminal justice professionals are basically agents of the government (Chezum, 2016). Every year a large number of criminal justice officials end their careers to the hands of unethical behaviors. It should be noted here that not all unethical behaviors are always illegal and that there are many practitioners who are not necessarily involved in illegal behaviors but are performing activities that are ethically wrong. To understand the ethical issues facing each of the parties involved in the criminal justice system, the first step is to understand the importance of the criminal justice system.…

Although the convicts still couldn’t leave the colony until the full sentence had been…
Stanford Prison Experiment What prevented "good guards" from objecting or countermanding the orders from tough or bad guards? The good guards were unable to object or countermand the bad guards because of the fear of what it would do to the guards’ authoritative role in the eyes of the prisoners. If they showed disunity as guards the prisoners could take advantage of the unstructured and create chaos within the walls of the prison. By objecting to the bad guards, they take the risk of the prisoners not taking the guards orders seriously.…
To help find the leading cause, a study that was conducted by the New Jersey Department of Corrections within the last several years displays a case of severe delusional disorder among an unsuspecting population. They found that delusional disorder is not directly related to criminal behavior, but has still proven to be a problem within correctional communities and populations. Through the years 2000 to 2012, inmates of New Jersey Correctional Facilities had 0.24 percent of their correctional population diagnosed with some type of delusional disorder (Bajgier, Reeves & Tamburello, 2015). According to this study’s findings, 0.24 percent is eight times higher than what was expected in this type of community (Bajgier, Reeves & Tamburello, 2015).…
