It has been found that escalation of commitment points out the tendency for costly decision making process with courses of action failure that project manager persists with (Brockner, 1992). Escalation of commitment may possibly fit in organizational culture in which several causes affect to leading members or critical circumstances. Kelly & Milkman (2013) explain that the most important reason is the decision maker’s unwillingness of business to admit his useless resource allocations to the preferred course of action or it is called ‘self-justification theory’. A number of decision makers recognize their negative feedback on project results but they would like to deal with the difficulty by deciding to reinvest in hope of getting better outcomes
