The student will work independently on a worksheet from the story Dear Deer. The student will identify each homophone, group the correct homophone and write the correct meaning of each homophone.
The student will work in a small group of two students. One student will identify the homophone and the other student will explain the meaning of the homophone. The teacher will walk around the class for accuracy.
