Clear Quartz can be found in many locations around the world, but the major mining location is in Spruce Pine, North Carolina in the USA. The largest single Clear Quartz crystal was found near Itapore, Brazil, and measured approximately 20 ft x 5 ft x 5 ft and weighed more than 44 tons.
