China, one of the most oldest countries and Civilizations in this world. This country has over 5,000 years of history so far and the most prosperous period is Tang dynasty. In this 5,000 years history, Chinese created their own culture and society. Today, the Chinese culture is Global and affects the whole world. However, Chinese culture still has some secrets unheard. Some of these secrets even became legends in China, a mausoleum which named Terracotta Warriors and Horses created in Qin dynasty is one of these secrets. Creater Qin Shi Huang was the first emperor of all China, It took 11 years to finish. Scienists and archaeologists who are doing research on this Terracotta Warriors and Horses found out that is was impossible for them to …show more content…
Ultimately, this emperors lead their dynasty to collapse. Early China’s feudal systems can be one of the most darkest socitaty systems over the world. Many citizen familys were broken because this system. First of all Heavy taxation in old China made most of the citizens’ money enter into pockets of nobility; even tenant farmers did not have to became slaves; old citizens did not exist any politically; which means they still had no more power on their hands even they were freemen. Emporers were the only people who could grant land for nobility. In Zhou dynasty, Emperor Wu had parceled out his field and remunerated those who had helped them in campaigns; gave them subtittles such as duke, marquis, earl, count for their honor. After nobility to own the land, he would own trees, water, animals, even treasures which were under the ground. However, old China also had some scienists who worked on alchemy. Old chinese do not have exact instruments, Chinese alchemists always used a stove which named ‘alchemy furnace’. Main difference between western alchemists and Chinese alchemists is: most of western alchemists were working to create new metal or turn base metal into gold, Chinese alchemists are worked on using metal such as gold to create precious medicines which can make people alive forever. Unfortunately, it was impossible to turn metal into medicines even they also add some herbs into it. So most of time Chinese alchemists would fail their tests. However, even Chinese alchemists fail their exam all the time, the knowledge from old alchemy in China have been great use in preparing the compounds and elixirs used for Chinese medicines; which means Chinese alchemy could be construed as a basis of
