In this paper I will discuss children with special needs, I will educate you on all types of special needs and the importance of educating people on how to become self-aware and utilize resources. A child with a special need is defined as a child 's with learning difficulties or disabilities. Some may have a physical disability, developmental disabilities, medical conditions, intellectual difficulties, or emotional problems; including deafness, blindness, dyslexia, and behavioral problems. Children may require a specialized education plan and early intervention. Early intervention can be used for children as young as one-year-old. The types of special needs I’m going to focus on are Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Dyslexia, Blindness, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity disorder. ASD (WebMD) is a mental condition, that present from the time when a child is born, described as difficulty in communicating and forming relationships with others. Chidren with ASD all have challenges with correspondence, challenges in social connection, stereotyped and dull interests as well as conduct. ASD is treatable, children do not outgrow ASD, but researchers’ studies show that early identification of the disease, problem, and/or action that helps the situation leads to improved results. A child with ASD is touchy, or maybe incredibly anxious once in a while, they can even be tormented by sounds, touches, smells, and sights that appear to be normal to other. Children with ASD…
