Following these core values are the most important aspects in becoming and developing leaders. Loyalty is extremely important with the trust of your subordinates during difficult situation. Duty is what is expected of you day in and day out throughout your entire career. Respect is what you are required to as a leader to not only your own leadership but peers and subordinates alike. Clear and concise guidance in leader development provides leaders with the basis to assess their strengths and needs to determine goals for developmental improvement.
