Showing good leadership in JROTC is important. Part of that leadership is providing a great service to others. As a squad leader, I have to always take care for my squad and stay up to date with whatever it is that is going on with them. I also must make sure that they have completed all their tasks as asked and if it is that they can’t accomplish it, I must take action and make sure they do so. Providing a great service to everyone around me is important. Making sure I’m providing a great environment for my squad is what I do every day, I learned to be this way from a few lessons in the Cadet Reference book, and I’ve learned that my actions have had positive effects on many of my fellow cadets.
