The author of the poem, “No Enemies” although Unknown, wrote a powerful message, in such a short poem. Everyone would like to think that they have no enemies, but an enemy does not necessarily mean that someone does not like or hates you. The author is saying in this poem, that having enemies can help make a person strong in their opinions, and will aid one as they attempt to change the minds and outlook of others. In “No Enemies” the author makes the argument that everyone should have enemies, if they do not, they are probably weaker for it, and should strive to stay true to their beliefs.
