Affirmative action is a policy that was designed to end discrimination in the United States Of America, by making sure that all minorities and people of color, even women. They would all be given the equal opportunity to get hired into a job or get accepted to a school. No matter what color their skin is, what country they are from or what religion they believe in, They all should be treated the same as every single race out there. It was first used in the United States in “Executive Order No.10925”, it was signed by John F . Kennedy who was the president of the country at that time, Affirmative action is still being used in this country till this day. The debates that will be included in this essay below are about Affirmative action one is about how affirmative action should be ended three debaters will be for and three will be against the action and another debate on how affirmative on campuses does more harm than it does any good for the students that are of color or minorities. Both debates have very good arguments on how affirmative action is a good thing and how it is bad for this country.
