“Let no man pull you so low as to hate him.” (Martin Luther King). Hatred is an inner feeling or emotion that takes birth when a person develops an extreme dislike for someone. This hatred, if not directed correctly, can transform into vengeance which would further lead to viciousness/violence. As the above quote explains, a person should not pull another so low that the other person develops a spark of hatred in his/her heart. This hatred causes humanity to disintegrate into abyss. Man loses control of himself and performs deadly acts unconsciously and unintentionally. This behavior is unacceptable and drags one towards isolation. We have made hatred one of the most common aspects of our lives and the consequences …show more content…
Violence is eating our world bit by bit day by day. Another perfect example can be the terrorist attacks that our country is facing now. These terrorists are brainwashed and are made to hate their own fellow Muslims. Man has lost his mind to such a level that now man does not hesitate when putting a bullet through a child’s brain. Does the hand not shake when the innocent eyes of a child stare right back in the eyes of a terrorist? For the love of god these are just little children. These little lives still need to grow up and experience the world. How is it possible that burning a child to death is so easy? One explodes himself taking lives of millions in split seconds and for what? For satisfaction? For revenge? The difference between man and animal is not present anymore. How are we any different from a lion tearing his pray apart? The answer is that there actually is a difference between us and the four legged beast. The difference is that we are way worse than the beast. The phrase “Think before you speak” came and went with the wind. How will one think when there is no sense left? There is no light down this road. There is no hope of return and there is unquestionably no taking it back. The hold of hatred over mankind has become so resilient that now there nothing a person can do to stop it. Hatred not only causes violence but it has other effects as well. Once a person is a part of this sin he distances himself from his loved ones and his society. People start mocking and family issues arise. Are all these bits a happiness so useless that they are given away in a blink of an eye? People quote that they sometimes perform these actions for their families. What kind of a family is called a family if they are satisfied with such a ferocious act? Is this the moral code of our life? taking lives and inflicting pain has become easier for us than to eat food. A bite should not go down the throat of a person who has no heart and no care for his fellow humans. The question that we need to ask ourselves is that is this the world that we want to live in? Is this the peace that people talk about? No, this is not what someone would want the coming generations to witness. The level of brutality, bloodshed and hatred is too much for an average person to handle. People are becoming victims of this hate every single day and there is no one to stop this
