While studying history last semester, I learned about the Holocaust, and was given various assignments with relation to the event. However, the course failed to teach about the history of the Jewish community. By researching Judaism, I wanted to learn more about why they faced such extreme prejudice and hatred by various communities, and what their values and practices are.
