The Hebrew Bible is the sacred book of the Hebrew people, and the book of Genesis is the original book of the Old Testament. The Hebrew Bible is the world’s oldest text that appears from the eleventh and twelfth centuries BCE. The book tells a story of God’s creation of the universe in seven days and the establishment of human civilization. In this short persuasive essay, I am going to discuss Genesis I, and want to talk about the Hebrew people and their significant belief in God and creation. The Hebrew society believes that their God is omnipotent, omniscient and loving.

Genesis I is an extremely fascinating story of a God and his creation, and after I finished reading I felt that this is an unbelievable story that I have not heard before.

In Geneses 1, "God said, 'Let us make the human in our image, by our likeness '... So God created the human in his own image, in the image of God.” In his creation period, God knows human beings are intelligent and have the aptitude to understand and think creatively, therefore God created the human being in his image. In Geneses I, God show he loves human beings after his creation. Love is the essence of God’s character. It helps to build-up belief and trust towards God. Another reason, God found human beings have more intellectual ability compared with other creators in this universe. Human beings are more capable of hearing and understanding God’s message, and respond God with love and loyal. This is the reason human beings are more likeness in front of God compared with other creators in the universe. In God’s creation, human beings are made on his reflection of image and likeness.

God is significant for the Hebrew people because they believe God has chosen their people. Omnipotence, omniscience, and love are three characteristics that show God is the most important character in the Hebrew culture. This is the reason the Hebrew people believe that God is the important character in their society. Their people always worship him, serve him, and love him. The Hebrew people believe God appears in their society for the first time in human history and teaches them God love and his power. God may use his
