Levator scapulae

O: four upper cervical


I: upper medial border of scapula


F: elevates scapula and rotates the scapula downward

Deltoid

O: clavicle, acromion and scapula spine.


I: anterior, lateral and posterior heads at deltoid tuberosity of humerus


F: anterior head flexes and medically rotates. Lateral abducts. Posterior extends and laterally rotates.
