Structural frame, human resources, political and symbolic. |

List and describe the four frames of organisations. |
Structural frame: comprises of roles and responsibilities coordination and control. Deals with how how an organisation is structured and focuses on its different groups roles and responsibilities. Human resource frame: focuses on providing harmony between the needs of the organisation and the needs of the people. Political frame: addresses organisational and personal politics. Comprised of collisions composed of varied individuals and interest groups. Conflict and power are key issues. Symbolic frame: focuses on symbols and meanings related to events. Culture, language, traditions and image are all parts of this frame. |

Functional, project and matrix. |

Describe a functional organisational structure? |
Functional managers or vice presidents in special departments report directly to the CEO. |

Describe a project organisational structure. |
This is a hierarchical structure in which program managers report directly to the CEO. |

Describe a matrix organisational structure. |
Represents the middle ground between both functional and project structures. Personel can report to a functional manager and one or more project managers. |
