He uses different types of fruit to give him back those visual thoughts & memories of when he was a child growing up in Jamaica.He talks about the laden covered orchards & the dewy dawns. He wishes to go back so he can soak in his heritage. For him the fast paced life style is too different from how he used to live in the tropics of Jamaica. Life for him growing up was more free spirited & about the land. You can tell he appreciates things around such as something so small as fruit & why those are the things he remembers most about his land.
