1990; protects individuals who have a disability from being denied access to programs and services that are provided by state or local governments and prohibits employers from failing to provide full and equal employment to the disables
Medical director
the physician who authorizes or delegates to the EMT the authority to provide medical care in the field
Medical control
either off-line or online, authorized by med director. online: direction given over the phone or radio. offline: standing orders, training, supervision authorized by med director
Primary prevention / secondary prevention
strategies that will prevent the event from ever happening / efforts to limit the effects of an injury or illness that you cannot completely prevent
