Multiple fire departments often require that Firefighters have to have a basic EMT certification in case of emergencies. If there is a fire, dare say. And firefighters haven’t yet arrived, but the Paramedics have; then the Paramedics and EMT’s must rush in action and take part as a firefighter, until they arrive and are able to help. As goes with Firefighters, if they arrive and the paramedics have already rushed into the scene, and some unfortunately do not make it out or are severely harmed, then the Firefighters must take action and provide care as an EMT toward the injured. The paramedic would have to know how to work in a small space and not have a fear of heights. Because, when it comes to this job, Traveling comes from a simple Ambulance to a Helicopter ride. When a patient needs to be transported in aircraft, the time will be decreased in traveling to a local hospital. But safety risks are increased, putting your life more at danger then it would be in an ambulance. But ALL paramedics and EMTs have to be okay with that and be determined to get that patient to and fro,
