Increases myocardial contractility (minimally). |

Indications |
Cardiogenic shock when systolic BP is less than 70 mmHg.
Post resuscitation hypotension after medical CPR's when systolic BP is less than 90mmHg. |

Precautions |
Assure IV patency; refer to Drug Administration Principles.
Continually monitor BP. Do not mix with Sodium Bicarbonate; flush tubing well between drugs. |
