Good communication is essential for the efficient functioning of any enterprise.


The process where the sender passes their message to a receiver so that it is accurately understood and can be acted upon.

Sender

An organisation/group/individual attempting to get their message to others.

Receiver

An organisation/group/individual to whom a message is sent.

Audience

The organisation/group/individual that you are communicating with.

Informal

Relaxed, friendly and unofficial

Formal

Conventional, polite, respectful and official

Slang

Words or phrases thst might be used when chatting with family or friends informally

Jargon

Special words or phrases that are used by a particular group or industry that are not commonly used by everybody.
