What is mitotic cell division?

Mitotic cell division is when a parent cell divides to form two new daughter cells which are genetically identical to the parent cell

What is meiotic cell division?

Meiotic cell division occurs when fertilization takes place, the zygote meiotically divides to form 4 genetically different cells from the parent cell which results into genetic variation


What is the difference between sexual reproduction and asexual reproduction?

Sexual reproduction requires both male and female genders to reproduce an offspring whilst, asexual reproduction only requires one parent to produce genetically identical offspring.
