Just like the mockingbird, Atticus never harms a single soul in his life and never will either due to his high maturity level. He is a really respectful character. Atticus also gives the Tom Robinson case 110% effort even tho there is a huge chance that he will be charged as guilty. Also when Bob Ewell spits in Atticus’ face Atticus did nothing but stare him into the eyes and wipe it off. Atticus is just a perfect character to represent the mockingbird in the story.
The last and final example of a character that resembles the mockingbird in the story is Arthur Radley. He is another great example because for one he never hurt anyone and does no harm to the community or to any single individual whatsoever. He actually never comes out of his house, he was being a recluse in the story. Other than that, near the end of the story Arthur comes out to save Scout and Jem. He saved their lives!! That is really great for a person who does not even really know the kids and never comes out of his house to do anything at all.
