Wells Fargo & Company is an American multinational banking and financial services holding company which is headquartered in San Francisco, California. It is the largest bank in the world by market value and the fourth largest bank in the U.S. by assets. Wells Fargo is also the largest bank by market capitalization and is the second largest bank in deposits, home mortgage servicing, and debit cards. In the next few paragraphs I will get a brief company analysis on Wells Fargo & Company. Standing as the 30th largest company in the United States, Wells Fargo is ranked 10th among the Forbes Global 2000. Although Wells Fargo’s main industry focus is banking and financial services they are also heavily into the following industries: Auto Dealerships, Beverage Companies, Education, Energy, Food and Agribusiness, Gaming, Government, Healthcare, Media and Communications, Restaurants, Retail, Technology Banking, and Waste and recycling. Wells Fargo as of 2014, has a revenue of $84.3 billion and operating income of $33.9 billion. They also have $23.0 billion in profits, $184.3 billion in total equity and assets that total $1.69 trillion. Though not an entirely domestic bank, Wells Fargo & Co is largely U.S. driven. Aside from the U.S., the top three countries where Wells Fargo offers loans are the United Kingdom, Canada, and China.
