The Prince of Troy had no idea that Venus had disguised herself as someone she’s not and had made the plan to trick him and seduce him. After she had done this it wasn’t until nine months later that she revealed who she was to this Prince. This was a shock to the Prince because you never would’ve thought that a Goddess was just out to disguise herself and seduce whoever she could trick. This Prince of Troy should’ve felt ashamed for falling under her tricky spell of love. Later on Venus also had to tell her mortal lover Anchises about their son together Aeneas. Aeneas had been told by his mother Venus to never brag about the affair unless he wanted to be struck by Jupiter.
