The stone cutter, who desires everything that he sees, but then learns a lesson about appreciating what he already has. For example in the stone cutter on paragraph 2 Andrew writes, " now in the mountain dwelt a spirit... Helped them in many ways to become rich and prosperous... time was coming when he learned to change his opinion". Also on paragraph 17 Andrew writes, " ...but he had learned to be satisfied with it, and did not long to be something or somebody else... He never asked for things he had not got, or desired to be greater and mightier than other people, he was happy at last". Here the author is saying women are labeled as creatures and are not known for who they actually are. Also it n page 45 Euripides writes, " Death looks so good to us, much better than our husbands". Here the author is saying how death is a women's only cure after going through something painful with men and also how death seems to be a better choice rather than holding on to their former husbands who won't even consider them as important. Overall women can have another side that has to be pulled out of them for people to actually listen to who they actually are. But not only does getting the bad side a benefit but it's a cost to their society. In other words, if women show a side that people think of as dissatisfying they could get an even worse label or symbol that people would remember them
