To contradict the idea of how well-off human race has been with all the technology advancement, its unfair to ignore the way technology has brought us to the stage were we base our daily lives on the bases of a certain piece of machine. In the movie Idiocracy, when a person travels many years in future and find people to be so much in to technology, it clearly shows how technology has hampered the way they think. But on other hand the lady who has travelled in future is no smarter than the people who have been impaired by technology.
