Martin Luther steamed his ideas of the Reformation with his “theory of justificaon by faith alone. That was basically meaning that one needed to have trust with god in order to be able to go to heaven. Luther did not agree with the ideas, the practices, superstions, indulgences and many more that were connected to the Church. Calvin belived in predestianation, wich was that it was predermined who will be sent to heaven and who will be sent to hell. While calvin lived in Geneva Switzerland he set many guildlines for moral behavior such as no consumption of alcohal,dancing or “immoral” behaviors. Woman also gained more rights and were begining to be treated more equally. Anyone who was guilty of beating there wives were punsihed. Throughout europe one is used to seeing a man did what he wanted to his wife and it was his own busniess, a wife was considered a piece of property. These were the rules all calvinist had to follow.
