The Change was quite tragic for the family at first, specially after the death of a loved one. Even through this frost continued to pursue his love for poetry overall. It was this passion that kept him going through his career. Robert frost started writing poems right out of high school.
Frost graduated from Lawrence High School, not surprisingly as a class poet; then two years later, the New York Independent accepted his poem entitled “My Butterfly”. He then received his first paycheck of fifteen dollars. Frost then entered Dartmouth College but remained less than a semester returning to Massachusetts. Later he enrolled at Harvard University in Boston, though he was never able to obtain a college
