Reasons For The Articles Of Confederation

The Articles of Confederation made our government is a total disaster. We need to have a Constitutional Convention and make a new plan of government. Shay's Rebellion showed that the Government is weak and that farmers could take take over the government because the government had no protection, they had no army to protect them from farmers and other countries could take over our country. So what was the point of me fighting for 8 years and gain no power out of it?
