Mother Teresa Could one person change how the world views each other? Mother Teresa once said, “Spread love everywhere you go… Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God’s kindness; kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile, kindness in your warm greeting.” Mother Teresa had so much love for everybody she came across. She dedicated her life to help people who could not help themselves. She had such a big impact on the world but an even bigger impact on the individual. She is often mentioned in our world and is a role model for many people. This profile goes over the basis of her life but does not go into details. The reader can learn what Mother Teresa did for the world without going into all of the extensive details. Profiles tend to be more of an overview of someone’s life instead of all of the details of it. They often give a summary of the backstory and then of focus on one aspect of the person’s life. Profiles give enough information that the reader knows why the person is important and why they should care about them. It can capture the interest of the reader so they will want to do more research and find out more about the subject of the profile.
Research Notes For my profile I used the internet as a source. I did a scholarly google search about Mother Teresa and found which papers and websites would work best with what I was researching. There were many journals and things published about Mother Teresa and I was able to educate myself about her life before I began writing my profile. I also looked at her Wikipedia page to learn more about the details of her life and realized that most of the things I read on there were accurate and went along with what the scholarly sources …show more content…
I would like to read stories about how she changed people’s lives from their perspective. It would also be interesting to read about peoples experiences about meeting her and talking to her and how just being in her presence felt even if she they did not need to be helped. I found a website that head experiences about meeting her but it was sketchy and unreliable and I was quite disappointed because I thought I had hit the jackpot in what I was looking for. I am definitely going to look into finding a book that tells stories of the people she was able to help and how she changed their lives because of her love and
