McCandless was someone who had more good qualities and intentions but committed a few critical errors that led to his death. McCandless was very intelligent. He went to Emory University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree and double major in history and anthropology. McCandless excelled academically. He was able to communicate well with others. Many people were drawn to McCandless. He seemed to have this amazing aura about him, even though McCandless disliked interacting with others at times and wanted seclusion.
