The NBA has been providing the United States with the entertainment of 2 battling it out for a win since 1646. Since then, 30 teams have all shown the world who can be the best. Of the hundreds of players in the NBA who have stood out from the crowd as one of the greatest and created some of the most controversy of all time, that player is LeBron James. Some may see his work as entertaining and impressive. Others may see other players excel more than they do. There should be no question that LeBron James is the greatest basketball player of all time due to his impressive statistics and ability to be versatile.

For example, he helped the Miami Heat win back-to-back championships in 2012 and 2013. With a 56.5% field goal range. He took almost every shot he took over 82 games he made in the season. Rohan Nadkarni of Sports Illustrated said that “’13 James was his best combination of athleticism, intelligence and determination” (Nadkarni). Having a player that can handle these 3 major factors is crucial for an NBA player. But with a 56.6% shooting record, he shows how he can outsmart other teams' defense and maintain that good offense. To get such recognition from a former all-star who has played against and lost to James shows that he’s not the average player.
