The way he deals with situations in this chapter leads him to becoming a horrible person. If he did not listen to Lord Henry, or even say that Sibyls death was a beautiful and horrific end to a wonderful play, he might have been able to redeem himself and not become the horrible person he was and end up killing himself. Even though Dorian was influenced by Lord Henry since the beginning of the novel, Dorian was still considered to have a nice and innocent soul, who tried wanted to fix his mistakes. But after the incidents that took place in this chapter, the following chapter consisted of Dorian committing more sins and being blind to the idea of redeeming himself and that he is ruining his
