1. The patterns for the different parameters depend on the season. Atmospheric temperature is always the high in July due to summer. For instance, the atmospheric temperature in Virginia was nearly 0°C in January 2000 but rose to about 25°C in July 2000. This makes sense because temperatures are low in January and high in July. The temperatures started dropping again around October because of the change in season. The amount of precipitation depends on the region. Regions near the ocean typically receive more rainfall than regions inland. This could be due to the movement of moist air from the ocean to land, causing more evaporation. The precipitation graph shows that the coastal areas of the United States received more precipitation throughout the year than the areas inland. Another conclusion that can be drawn from the graph is that the world receives more precipitation in July and October than it does in January and April. Also, the Middle East and North Africa rarely receive rainfall. The cloud coverage is reasonably similar throughout the year. However, cloud coverage is very high in South East Asia during July. This could be due to the monsoons, which brings rain to Southeast Asia between June and September. Cloud coverage in the Middle East and North Africa stays moderate because of the lack of precipitation.
