While I keep talking, I will, in the following paragraphs, state how these 3 amazing activists contributed to the Civil Rights Movement: John F. Kennedy, Frederick Douglass, and John Lewis. John F. Another act of equality Frederick had done to earn him his title was that Fredrick recruited African Americans to fight in the United States Army originally before the movement even happened. Fredrick Douglass was also seen in many cases, trying to stop discrimination in the United States and standing up for African Americans (Frederick Douglass (U.S, 2023). John Lewis, the last civil rights activist we will be looking at, was much unlike Fredrick Douglass since instead of being a huge inspiration for the movement, Lewis was known for being a major civil rights leader. He was proven to mostly be an amazing pick as a civil rights leader of the movement since John Lewis wasn’t only the co-founder of SNCC at the time, but John Lewis also constantly helped organize many seminal moments in the Civil Rights Movement. It was known that Lewis had put devoted time and significant tons of effort in the success of the Civil Rights Movement too (John Lewis (February 21, 1940 - July 17, 2020) | National Archives,
