A topic that is mentioned on a daily basis is Freedom of Religion. Freedom of Religion is the freedom for one or a group of persons publically or privately practices,beliefs, and worships a religion or no religion at all. Top religions include: Christianity, Islam, Catholicism, Hinduism, and Buddhism. Out of these religions, Christianity is the top religion having over 2,000,000 followers. Islam is not far behind, they are rapidly growing (newsmax).Three things that are important about freedom of religion are: its basis of importance, its place of impact, and its major religions.
Religion plays an important part in our world. Everywhere all over there are a variety of different religions, although, not everyone believes in a religion. For example, a specific group of people named atheists. Atheists argue for the non-existence of God or an absence of God. Then there are those who go farther and say there is no God. Do not get confused with an agnostic who believes in atheism and theism (American Atheism). Another well-known religion is Buddhism. This religion began in India 2,500 years ago. Although this religion is virtually extinct in India, it is most dominate in Middle East. The Buddhist god is Buddha. Buddha means "enlightened one." Buddhism mainly focuses on religious rituals and worship of deities. Hinduism is another popular religion in the world (Buddhism).
