There many species of Toucans in our world today. They are beautiful animals with many interesting details about them. Toucans have a large history that most details are hard to find. They continue to evolve and keep making new species. Toucans have learned to use their adaptations that will help them better in life.
Keel- Billed Toucans adapted to becoming fruit eater. The rainforest fruits are so much sweeter, but it is possible they have already have eaten fruit. Their long beaks help them reach fruits in hard places. They have two claws in the front and the back to make it easier to climb trees. Even though they eat mostly fruits they also each insects , reptiles , small birds and eggs. The toucan’s color of it’s feathers helps it blend to its surroundings. They also can spot their predators with its great sharp eyesight, then flies up high in the air to keep away from their predators.

Their beaks help them grab food that are hard to get in difficult places, it keeps them cool in their hot climates, and even though their beaks are not strong enough to be used as a weapons against predators, some animals become more frightened by its size.
