Eating Disorders Eating disorders among people all around the world isn’t as uncommon as people think. Although, it is more frequent to happen to a young adult than an older individual. According to Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders (ANAD), 95% of people who have eating disorders are between the ages of twelve and twenty-five. Eating disorders not only affect someone physically, but also mentally and socially. Three of the most common disorders in the world are, anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorders can also be one of the most deadly things to overcome. Eating disorders are deadly because when you are not getting the nutrients and vitamins that your body needs to function probably then you will become weak and ill causing your body to eventually shut down. Eating disorders are very common in a country that it should not be popular in because, we have everything we need here its not like we are short on supplies of food. Instead, the United States has those people who want to be thin and think that this is a good way out instead of working out and eating healthy, this way is just easier, or they do workout and burn all the nutrients that the body has and doesn 't eat so the body can not fill the nutrients it lost. People are damaging their bodies when they choice this path instead of finding a better alternative.
