I couldn’t focus in order to try to understand the poem. My mind was everywhere; maybe, I learned something new about myself, I am sensitive to this subject; but who isn’t, when reading about flames, death and demons. After some introspection, questions begin to rise, who is this poet? Why would she write such a poem? She must have been in a very dark place, feeling alone, which can lead to pessimism as well.
Sometimes different situations in life make you feel depressed, tired and slowly lose the will to move forward. The author, in the poem takes it a little further that it should, in my opinion. The use of word in this poem is really good because the poet shows clearly the pessimism and negativism throughout the text. Close reading this poem helped a lot in showing different aspects and views of it.

It was a moment in my poem that everything made sense when words like; darkness, flames, death are spoken. The imitation had to be optimistic, about life, hope and everything positive that a person can think of. It was a personal vendetta for reading that poem. The positive response came naturally.
