In the wolf pack they follow the laws of the jungle. In the book they talk about how father wolf heard something in the bushes and jumped at it but when he jumps he notice it was a man cub which in the law of jungle isn't acceptable to harm in the law so he didn't hurt the man cub. “The reason beasts give among themselve is that Man is the weakest and most defenseless of all living things, and it is unsportsmanlike to touch him.” (1.19). The laws of the jungle try to make the creatures be kind to everything that doesn't stand a chance in protecting itself so the animals don't end up like Shere Khan and kill what he wants. Towards the end of the story he challenges the pack leader for control and kill Mowgli Akela who was the pack leader defended Mowgli by saying "He has eaten our food. He has slept with us. He has driven game for us. He has broken no word of the Law of the Jungle." (1.122) Akela tried to have the wolves who turned savage and turned their backs to their brothers to spare him and Mowgli because Mowgli had done nothing wrong and had helped the pack countless times. The other wolves and shere khan weren't listening to what he was saying they were being ruthless and wanted to kill them both so they fought and Akela and Mowgli and the other wolves who stood by their side had won. While in the book Brave New World they have many innovations like the helicopters that are their stairs which is rather amazing and how they turn dead people into useful products everyone has a purpose. While at the reservation is more like how we see ourselves today more civilized they marry and have families they don't create people in test tubes and they have history and learn. They don't just sit around do
